Therapy For Adults

Therapy is about self-exploration, getting in touch with the one person who matters most — you!

Sometimes, life is messy. We’ve got too much on our plates, we become exhausted and overwhelmed. If we have experienced trauma- we may be deeply hurting. These are times when we need extra support. Being able to reach out and ask for help is an act of true strength and bravery!

During the pandemic, we found ourselves navigating a new and challenging reality—what we now recognize as collective trauma. As vaccination rates increase and restrictions are lifted, many people still feel the psychological effects of years spent living in fear, indoors, and away from friends and family. We had to keep going to survive—but now it’s time to slow down and process what happened and how we’ve been affected. What are we still carrying in our bodies? What kind of support do we need moving forward?

Therapy gives you an experience of healing in the context of a strong, safe, and nurturing relationship. The therapeutic relationship is a special kind of relationship, one that promotes growth, self-development, coregulation, maturation, creative exploration, all while processing and integrating past experiences.

Are you ready to start the healing process? Schedule a consultation today to see if we would be a good fit!

How to Get Started

STEP 1

To start, let’s talk on the phone for 15-20 minutes. You can tell me a little bit about what’s bringing you to therapy, and I can answer any questions you may have about me or my services.

STEP 2

Next we will schedule a first session. I like to think of the first three sessions as a trial period. This gives us a chance to get to know each other to see if it feels like a good fit, and for you to get a taste of my therapy style and how I work.

STEP 3

After three sessions we will check in. When we decide to work together, we will discuss your goals and how therapy can best support you in reaching them. It will be a collaborative process and will look different for every individual client.

For you to get the most out of your therapy experience it’s important to remember, building a strong therapeutic relationship takes time. I prefer to see my clients once a week or more if needed.

Fees

$160 per session for individuals.

Sessions are 50-minutes.

Therapy sessions are offered weekly, or more as needed.

I do not currently accept insurance.
